Last week we began Galatians and covered chapter 1. This week we will study chapters 2 & 3. These are two very rich chapters as Paul reiterates that salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone. One of the key passages of the whole book comes from chapter 2:20″I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” So what does that mean? Come and find out.
In chapter 3, Paul takes us on a interesting little Old Testament review of Abraham and his faith.
Our end of year potluck luncheon will follow the lesson on May 13th. We will have sign-up sheets this week.
