Last week, we covered Proverbs 16-26 and saw more about the fear of the LORD, wisdom, foolishness and that little body part that can cause such big problems – the MOUTH.
Solomon also had a lot to say about a quarrelsome wife. He compared her to a dripping faucet and said that a husband with a wife like that would be better off living in the attic or the desert. Hmmm. He’s had plenty to say about foolish men, so don’t be offended when he says something specific to women. Of course, you know what they say . . . if the shoe fits . . . buy it in every color. 🙂
You do not want to miss this week as we will be finishing Proverbs (27-31) with “The Practically Perfect Woman.” This is a woman who takes godly wisdom and puts it into practice in her everyday life. Is there anyone who has this all nailed down? I’m still learning from this woman.
On Tuesday night, we will begin at 6:00 with dinner and a fashion show in the Great Hall. This will be so much fun. At 6:50, we will move to the Sanctuary for some special music with Lisa Pierre (Women of Faith and Beth Moore praise team leader). And last but not least, the conclusion of Proverbs.
On Wednesday morning, we’ll begin at 9:30 in the sanctuary with Lisa Pierre and our worship team. This will be followed by the lesson. Then we will move to the Great Hall for lunch and the fashion show. Email me for more info – firstname.lastname@example.org
Be there or be square!!!
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths,” Proverbs 3:5-6.
