What a wonderful time we had for our Friend Day! Thank you for inviting your friends to come. Please follow up with them or send me their info and I will. Please ask them to come again. If they would like to join, have them go to our website and register or we can enroll them when they come to MM.
I want to thank our Special Events coordinator, Kay Zost for doing such a great job, Cindy Duffy for decorating the Great Hall, Teresita’s for catering the wonderful meal, Fabulous You for the fabulous fashion show, all our MM models for rocking the runway, and LISA PIERRE for leading us in worship. Thanks also to our wonderful leadership team who go above and beyond to help with whatever is needed.
One of our MM members and a model this week, Cintia Listenbee, writes a blog about her faith, family, fitness, and so forth. She has posted pictures of all our models. Check it out: Simply Cintia .
The lesson focused on two primary points – Having sharp friends – “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend,” Proverbs 27:17 (NLT). I talked about the importance of having friends who keep you sharp intellectually, spiritually and so forth. I encouraged everyone to have an accountability partner or small group. For more info on that, email me.
The second main point I zeroed in on was “The Practically Perfect Woman” of Proverbs 31:10-31. If you were not there, I hope you will listen to the podcast. (Click on Audio Messages.) I promise you will laugh, but more importantly, I believe you will be encouraged in your quest to be a more excellent woman. It is within your reach!!!
You’re the best!!!
“Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised,” Proverbs 31:30 (NLT).
