Review of Isaiah 21-33

Each time I study Isaiah I am blown away by the prophesies God gives him. Many of them are so specific, and we can clearly see how they were fulfilled. Others are yet to be fulfilled as they point to the Day of the Lord or End Times. Quite a few of the chapters we covered this time were dealing with the End Times (return of the King and millennial period).

If you missed the lesson, you can catch the video on our Vimeo channel. Be ready to take notes! As you listen to me, whether in person or online, I want to remind you of Acts 17:11 –Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.  I want you all to be of noble character and receive my messages eagerly, and EXAMINE the Scriptures DAILY to see if what I say is true. Don’t take my word for it, in other words. Check it out for yourself.

One of the things I am enjoying the most about Isaiah are the great verses that stand alone and teach us something very big in a short verse or two. Here are some of my favorites from this week:

25:1 O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.

25:8 He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken.

26:3-4 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.

30:21 And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

33:2 O Lord, be gracious to us; we wait for you. Be our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble.

33:6 And he will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure.

May God bless you all as you listen to Him. BE watching. BE ready. BE expecting God’s return!

You’re the best!!!
