AMAZINGRACE 2014 Has Begun!!!

Hi ladies!!!

It was great to be back in Merry Ministries this past week! If you are new to Merry Ministries, we welcome you!!! I know some of you only know me through the podcasts and video casts, but you are very important to me and to Merry Ministries. Let me hear from you from time to time. I would really like that!

The Merry Ministries AMAZINGRACE 2014 is off and running! If you missed the lesson, you can catch it by clicking on the Messages page. We began with a fun video with me and my accountability partner, Lauran Helms, talking about The Amazing Race (CBS) and The AMAZINGRACE 2014 for Merry Ministries. We had another short video at the end.

In the middle was Jeremiah, or Jerry as I like to refer to him. I gave some historical background as we jumped into his awesome book of Old Testament prophesy. His message is just as relevant for the 21st century and for the 6th century B.C.

We saw from chapter 1 that God called Jerry and consecrated him in the womb to be a prophet. Jerry wasn’t too thrilled with his job assignment when he first recognized it as a teenager. He made excuses as to why he couldn’t do it. “I’m too young. I’m not a good speaker.” God made it clear to him that he was not too young and that God would give him the words to speak.

So…what kind of excuses might you be giving God for whatever He is calling you to do. Ouch.

Whatever God calls you to do, He equips you to do.

God wants both your ability and your availability.

God has a purpose and plan for your life, too. It’s a good plan, people. He’s a good God. He’s the only God! “No one is like you, LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power,” (Jeremiah 10:6).

If you can, go back and reread the 13 chapters we covered.

God bless you all. I love you.

You’re the best!!!

Mary

“My only aim is to finish the [AMAZING] race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me–the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace” Acts 20:24.
