Merry Ministries is a women's interdenominational group that meets weekly to worship God, study the Bible, pray and fellowship with each other. The group of over 200 women includes Methodists, Baptists, Catholics, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Episcopalians, Church of Christ, non-denominationalists and those who are not affiliated with any church. Our time of praise and worship is led by Christian recording artist, Tricia Zody.
The Bible lessons are taught by leader Mary Willis. There is no written homework in this class; however, we encourage everyone to read their Bibles regularly.
This summer we are taking a break from our through-the-Bible study to do "Living Beyond Yourself" by Beth Moore. This is an 11 week video-driven study with a workbook. If you would like for us to order the workbook for you, please email Barbara Conklin at . The cost is $16. If you choose not to do the workbook, you may still come and view the video for no charge. Please join us. This study will be on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in the Great Hall of Sugar Land First United Methodist Church beginning June 10th. Click here for a map and driving directions.
In September, Mary will continue her through-the-Bible study with the New Testament books of Ephesians, Phillippians, and Colossians. Check back in August for more details.
