Hebrews is a masterful letter (or possibly sermon) written to the Hebrews (Jews) who were evaluating Jesus or struggling with this new faith called Christianity. The writer describes in detail how Jesus Christ not only fulfills the promises and prophecies of the Old Testament but also how Christ is superior and supreme. It goes on to address the practical implications of following Christ.
